It is the policy of Rent-4-Less to allow customers to rent vehicles without a bank credit card.  However, very specific requirements must be met by any renter not able to provide a credit card to assure payment for the rental.

·      Local address and telephone number in Renter’s name.

If renter’s name and address is in the phone book, and phone number is current then both these requirements are met.  Barring this, rent receipts, utility bills or telephone bills must be provided

·      Local Bank Account in renters name (checking or savings)

Renter must present bank statement or savings passbook.  If customer does not meet this requirement, a longer employment history and more secure job evidence is required.

·      One year employment with reputable firm.

We must verify by telephone, and obtain date of employment and current status.  Someone laid-off does not qualify as currently employed.  This is essential, and if we cannot verify, because the company is not open, or for any other reason, you may not be eligible for the rental.

·      A $200.00 cash deposit plus the estimated amount of the rental.

If you expect to keep the car one week or less, the deposit must be for $200.00 plus the $124.95 weekly rental plus taxes, and CDW, etc. so the deposit will be at least $375.00.  CDW is required for any cash renter who cannot provide proof of full coverage automobile insurance.  If you wish to keep the car for a longer period than I week, but don’t want to make a larger deposit, you must pay the one week minimum, then to come in once a week to keep the deposit at that level.  If you desire to rent at the monthly rate, you must pay one month’s rent plus the $200.00 deposit at the time of the rental.
